The Balcons du Luberon seen by the sky

Down the first foothills of the Vaucluse mountains, going past the mysterious village of Les Bories, Gordes clings to the rocks, gleaming in the sun. Passing through its little “caladées” streets, you will discover breathtaking views of the plains, the surrounding villages, the castle and the unique tile-roofed stone houses of the region.

In 5 minutes walk from the heart of the village and the castle, we will welcome you at the Balcons du Luberon, an eighteenth century Provence farmhouse. There, from your bedroom, in the garden or by the swimming pool, you will enjoy the tranquility and the beauty of the view of the unrivalled Luberon valley.

  • "It is a perfect place to enjoy the calm and the incredible view of Gordes. It is a historical house, perfectly maintained and with very good taste. It has an outstanding view, perfect location, and excellent swimming pool."

  • « Etienne was a very helpful host, taking time to help me with annoying technical issues (urgent printing and phone credit dilemmas). The traditional stone house is furnished in a stylish modern style and the bedrooms are a good size with the benefit of a small balcony offering the most amazing 180 degree view of the valley below. The bnb is in close walking distance to the beautiful hilltop town of Gordes. This was a lovely place to stay and close to most of the attractions the Luberon has to offer. »

  • "Etienne was most gracious and welcoming during our two day stay in his magnificent house in Gordes. The house about a 5 minute run up the hill from the center of the village. The room and the house's front porche have a breathtaking view of the Luberon valley. That view by itself is worth a trip to the Provence. The rest of the house is pristine, including a great pool by the gardens that we managed to enjoy every day of our stay. Etienne prepares breakfast himself and can also prepare dinner upon request. We highly recommend Etienne and his home and hope to come back soon in our next visit to Provence."

  • "Etienne was a lovely host and always made sure you were comfortable and content. The accommodation, grounds and view were exactly as described and were breathtaking. Special mention to Etiennes culinary skills, amazing chef! Homemade breakfast every morning is delicious! :)"

  • "We had a lovely stay at Les Balcons du Luberon. Etienne was a terrific host and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and we had what we needed. During our stay he made three great dinner reservations for us in addition to cooking us one very memorable and delicious meal. The B&B has all the charm of Provence but with great modern amenities and decor."

  • "Etienne was a fantastic host. We had a very warm welcome in a very warm and beautiful house. I must say that this place was far better than we expected, the photos do not do it justice! Etienne is a really nice guy and very welcoming and helpful. He is also a fantastic cook."

  • « Amazing! Etienne is the perfect host, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, also a fantastic cook. The house is lovely, shared areas very stylish, room was huge, very clean and really nicely done. The garden and pool are beautiful, breakfast on the terrace looking out across the view was a highlight. Really would recommend this as a place to stay. Thank you »

  • " Absolutely perfect! The view, the swimming pool, the gardens, the bedroom, the breakfast and Etienne were all wonderful. It was just bliss. The view from the balcony was amazing. The breakfast included fruit and lovely jam on the terrace. It feels very luxurious and a real treat. We hope to be back! "

  • " The place was charming and 5min walk to town, the views are phenomenal over the wine country. Neighborhood was quiet and clean. Etienne was very friendly and helpful host. To top the trip he had a list of wines by glass/bottle and the home made breakfast was set outside on the terrace. Would recommend this place for everyone staying in the Gordes area."
